Product Highlights: Essential Safety and Restraint for Pet Travel
Ensure the safety of your dog or cat during car rides with this adjustable pet seat belt tether. Designed for universal compatibility with most vehicles, this restraint attaches securely to the seat belt buckle and your pet's harness, preventing distracted driving and protecting your pet from sudden stops or jumps.
Key Features
Universal Seat Belt Clip: Features a standard metal tongue that easily clicks into the seat belt receptacle of most car models (check compatibility before purchase).
Adjustable Length: Made from durable premium webbing material with an adjustable slide buckle, allowing you to customize the tether length to provide your pet with enough movement to sit or lie down comfortably, while restricting their ability to reach the driver or jump out the window.
Heavy Duty Swivel Clip: Includes a robust, metal snap hook that securely attaches to the pet's harness (harness sold separately) and swivels 360 degrees, allowing your pet to turn without tangling the strap.
Durable Webbing Material: Constructed from tough, premium woven nylon material designed to withstand tension and wear, ensuring reliable performance in the event of sudden stops.
Focus on Safety: Keeps pets safely confined to the back seat, minimizing driver distraction and acting as a restraint in case of accidents.
Lightweight and Portable: Each tether is lightweight (approx. 50g) and compact (approx. 17 cm when packaged), easy to store and transfer between vehicles.
Detailed Product Description
Traveling with pets requires responsible safety measures. This pet car safety belt is a simple yet crucial addition to your vehicle accessories. It serves as a necessary restraint, transforming your car into a safer environment for both you and your animal companion.
The core functionality relies on its adjustability. You can easily modify the length to allow your pet a comfortable range of motion—enough to shift position, but not enough to interfere with driving controls or climb onto the front console. This is critical for preventing dangerous distractions on the road.
Installation is straightforward: simply buckle the metal tongue into the car's seat belt receiver and clip the swivel hook onto your pet's durable harness (never a collar, as this can injure their neck during a sudden stop). The heavy-duty metal hardware ensures a secure connection for peace of mind on every journey.
Important Safety Note: For maximum safety, always attach the seat belt tether to a dedicated pet harness, not a standard neck collar.
